Our Story
Remitian was built by accountants for accountants. The first version of the platform was developed inside three Canadian CPA firms McIntyre, Crowe, and Zenbook under the guidance of our founder Larry. These firms needed a secure and reliable way to manage tax payments across their clients, and no existing solution met professional standards.
From the start, we focused on accuracy, security, and compliance. We held back broader commercialization until the platform had full regulatory clearance.
Once our foundation was proven, we raised seven million USD to bring Remitian to firms across North America and to develop new capabilities, including a publicly available API that connects tax filing to payment.
Today, Remitian continues to grow with direct input from accounting professionals, delivering a unified system for modern tax payment management.
