SMS meeting reminder terms

When scheduling a meeting with Remitian Inc. ("Remitian," "we," "us," or "our"), you may choose to receive one automated SMS reminder. The reminder will include the meeting time, the name of your Remitian contact, and a link to join, reschedule, or cancel the meeting.

This program is limited to meeting-related reminders. It is not used to send promotional or marketing messages.

By providing your mobile number and selecting the optional SMS reminder checkbox on the scheduling page, you consent to receive one automated SMS reminder approximately 60 minutes before your scheduled meeting. The checkbox is not selected by default. Consent is optional and is not required to schedule a meeting or receive services from Remitian.

Your consent applies only to the specific meeting for which it is provided. If you schedule another meeting, you will be given the option to consent again.

You represent that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

You will receive no more than one SMS reminder per meeting for which you opt in.

If a meeting is rescheduled before the reminder is sent, a reminder will be sent based on the updated meeting time. If a meeting is canceled before the reminder is sent, no reminder will be sent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any Remitian SMS reminder. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further SMS meeting reminders unless you provide consent again for a future meeting.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan. Remitian does not charge a fee for SMS meeting reminders.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may be affected by your carrier, network conditions, device settings, or other factors outside Remitian's control.

Remitian collects and retains the following information in connection with this program: your mobile number, the date and time consent was provided, the meeting booked, the scheduling page where consent was given, and the consent language in effect at the time. This information is retained to honor your consent and to process opt-outs.

Remitian uses third-party messaging and scheduling platforms to operate this program. These service providers receive only the information necessary to deliver reminders and process opt-outs. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent for third-party marketing purposes.

Remitian may update these terms to reflect changes to the program or applicable requirements. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect. We will not use existing meeting-reminder consent to send materially different or promotional messages.
